“The Lost Sheep”, “The Lost Coin”, “The Lost Son”, were these just parables for Jesus’ time? Do these parables still apply in our time. I would like to think so, however just in case of any doubt… Here is a word of advice for any sheep out there; whatever you do, don’t get lost. Why? Because there is no guarantee that anyone will come looking for you. You are on your own, buddy ππ.
Today in the African christendom, you have to arrive “well done”, like steak! It is not a hospital for sinners anymore, but a club of “well done” saints! If you have problems you are considered weak or not spiritually mature. There is no room for issues or problems because we do not have the compassion nor the time to deal with your baggage. We do not care about your problems, period. You could be starving for all we careπππ. The more you pay, the more highly favoured you are. We turn a blind eye to your foibles. We can’t judge you, you pay your tithes for goodness sake π³π³. Just keep paying your tithes and shut up, we don’t care about you. While you are at it, do not question things. It is just not allowed. Do not be a trouble maker ye hear? Are you with me now, learn to be very quiet, just bob your head and say yes all the time. That is the stuff brownie points and “loyal” followers are made of. Besides you will get to heaven quicker that way πππ.
Yes, Christian charity at its best. Wanna join this club? Remember don’t get lost. We do not have the time nor the resources to look for you. You have been warned. If you have any concerns, please feel free to join #SheepLivesMatter.
Disclaimer: You join #SheepLivesMatter at your own peril. You may have curses rained on you and considered “disloyal” for daring to question authority! Your only option is to continue to be a mindless follower, no point in using the brain God has given you, right? Also, it keeps you out of trouble ππ!
Until next time, I repeat, don’t get lost.
