Faith Decision Purpose Surrender to God Steadfastness Obedience

The Time Is Now

Do not put off until tomorrow what needs to be done today. Tomorrow may never come because no one is guaranteed tomorrow. We must be intentional about how we live our lives and live it with purpose. At the end of your life, what do you want to be said about you? What will your legacy be? How is your life impacting others now? It is not too late to start afresh. Do not waste your life or your talents. You are to use them to glorify God and to bless others.

We have only today to surrender our lives to God and live according to His will. Do not put off that decision. The time is now, it is a matter of urgency. Nobody knows when their last breath will be. We need to cast off our pride and hand over control to Him. It will be the best decision you have ever made. Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. Once you have made that decision, stand firmly by it. Do not be swayed or tempted to fall back into old patterns. It is not an easy thing but the Holy Spirit will be your guide for you can do nothing in your own strength or power!

There will be all kinds of challenges in your walk of faith. Determine to be steadfast and unwavering; Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left – Isaiah 30:21. People may resist you, they may never understand you, or where you are coming from; stand firm. They may try to limit you or dim your fire; stand firm. They will try to rein you in or try to stagnate you; stand firm. They will hate you; stand firm.

Look for like-minded believers who will stand with you and encourage you. If you cannot find anybody (sadly this does happens, there will be times when there will be nobody in your corner) just trust in the promises of God, that is what will keep you going and the Holy Spirit, your Comforter. Feed your soul on the Word of God, that is your armour for the battles of life. Do not be a lazy believer running on empty! Today we have believers who do not want to know God, but they want His blessings. It is now all about what we can get, the riches and the wealth; spiritual growth or the emphasis on it is going the way of the dodo bird 🙄🙄. If you are of such a mind, wanting spiritual fire, then you become the problem, you are just too much. My question is when did we start losing our way? It is now too much effort to read the Bible, we just want to wave a magic wand and all that we desire will appear, pronto! We need a reality check and quick.

No matter what is going on around you, do not succumb to the “empty believer” syndrome. You are called upon to be a light to others. If the light in you is darkness, who is going to be attracted to you? We cannot influence anybody if the light of Christ cannot be seen in us. Remember, the time is now, not tomorrow, next week, or two years from now. Do not let any body hinder you from making the right decision.
